Really? An online dating profile writing service?
Really. An online dating profile writing site. One that’s been around since 2012. One that’s appeared in every major media outlet. One that’s written thousands of online dating profiles that have attracted more attention, higher quality attention, and led to lasting relationships. One that will make a difference in your love life.
But isn’t that wrong? Are you lying to make people sound better than they really are?
This is what we’re most proud of at Fix My Profile. We don’t write fiction. We don’t make up stories. We only write what YOU tell us to write. The fact is, it’s hard to get creative when describing yourself, especially without using adjectives and cliches like everyone else. The FMP process forces you to dig deeper for the answers than you normally would, so that your profile reads like something that couldn’t be written by anybody else in the world. Ultimately, every single word in your final profile is either something you wrote in your questionnaire or said on the phone. In other words, we don’t create your voice. We capture it. You’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that your final profile sounds a LOT more like you than if you were to actually do it yourself.
Do I have to meet you in person?
Nope! This is online dating, isn’t it? No scheduling, no lengthy phone chats—everything is done through the wonder of the interwebs.
I don’t have any decent photos, can I still order?
Yes! We’ll happily review and offer feedback on your existing photos – even if you’re not happy with them (you might be surprised by the results). We also include a full list of recommendations, suggestions and examples for photos that you should take and upload in the future! Where you are, what you’re doing or wearing, who you’re with…you get the idea
But I still suck at messaging. Can you help with that, too?
You know it! Intro message writing is included in our Wingman Package. Just let us know the username of the person you want to message, and we’ll compose the perfect message for you to copy and paste to them.
Will you work with dating services other than Match?
Absolutely! Name your platform. Match.com, Guardian Soulmates, POF, eHarmony, Tinder, Bumble, Our Time, Farmers Only (yes, really!)…
I’m not sure which site is best for me, can you help?
Yes! We’ll let you know which dating sites are best for you and your search.
What about the other short answers on Match, OkCupid or eHarmony? Do you write those, too?
The Rocket package handles the two most important questions (About You, About Your Ideal Match) which make up the bulk of your profile on most dating sites. We do not answer “Last Read” or “Favourite Hot Spots” on Match, for that would be time prohibitive. However, if you get The Wingman Package, we will handle the standard 9-13 short-answer questions on both OkCupid and eHarmony.
OK, I’d ready to order; how does it work?
Choose the option that works best for you. We’ll then email you a link to the profile questionnaire, so that we can learn all about you and you can upload your photos. Your dating profile writer will contact you within 1 working day of completing the questionnaire; they’ll confirm that we have everything we need and then let you know when your new dating profile will be ready (usually 3 working days). Easy peasy.
What happens if I don’t like my new profile?
Impossible! Okay, possible, but highly unlikely. After all, we’re only taking the things that you say and putting them down on paper for you. It’s not our job to fictionalise, editorialise or make anything up – it’s simply our job to capture you, like a cameraman taking a photo. While we’re very confident in our work, to ensure your satisfaction, you can provide notes to the writer, and get unlimited revisions in return (we want you to be 100% happy with your profile).
What if I fall in love or change my mind before I get my profile? Do I get a refund?
If you fall in love: Congratulations, you win! If you change your mind, just email us within 2 working days of placing your order and we’ll refund your payment and cancel your order.
